Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 3 thin slices ham
  • 1 slice Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon butter

 

Steps:

  • Replace the cooking grid with a griddle. Preheat barbecue on LOW.
  • Spread one slice of bread with mustard. Cover with ham and then cheese. Place other slice of bread on top.
  • Beat the egg and milk together in a small shallow dish. Dip the sandwich in the egg on both sides and place directly on the preheated, buttered griddle. Turn when the underside is golden brown, and cook until the cheese melts.
